Claryfy – Privacy Policy

Claryfy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Claryfy app.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account details: Name, email address, and company association (if provided).

  • Training data: Quiz answers, progress levels, and completion status.

  • Certificates: Records of training completion issued in your name.

  • Technical data: Device type, app version, and usage logs (non-identifiable).

We do not collect financial details, private communications, or sensitive evidence.

2. How We Use Information

  • To deliver training modules and track user progress.

  • To issue certificates and badges of completion.

  • To provide anonymised reports to your employer (if part of a company license).

  • To improve app performance and user experience.

3. Data Security

We apply security measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 principles, including:

  • Encryption of stored data and backups.

  • Role-based access controls.

  • Secure servers and cloud hosting with limited access.

4. Data Retention

  • Training data and certificates are retained for 12 months from completion date.

  • After this period, all personal data is securely deleted.

  • Organisations may request earlier deletion or extension of retention.

5. Your Rights

You may request:

  • Access to your data,

  • Correction of errors, or

  • Deletion of records.

EU users also have GDPR rights, including restriction of processing and portability.

6. Sharing of Data

  • We do not sell or trade your data.

  • Limited access may be provided to your employer (for training reports).

  • Service providers may process data strictly under confidentiality agreements.

7. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Namibia, without prejudice to mandatory data protection rights under the user’s country of residence (e.g. GDPR for EU users).

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Claryfy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

2. Purpose of the App

Claryfy is a workplace training and awareness tool. It is designed to support risk awareness and integrity culture.
It does not replace legal, HR, or compliance investigations.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when registering.

  • Use the app for lawful and professional purposes only.

  • Do not misuse, copy, or distribute app content without permission.

4. Intellectual Property

All content (quizzes, videos, badges, certificates, design, and code) is the intellectual property of Claryfy and SoA Growth & Integrity Consulting.
Users may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute materials.

5. Limitations of Liability

Claryfy content is provided for educational purposes only.
We are not liable for:

  • Business losses,

  • Misuse of content, or

  • Decisions made outside the intended training purpose.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if the app is misused.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Namibia, without prejudice to mandatory protections available under the laws of the user’s country of residence.
