Supporting ACFE International Fraud Awareness Week
15–21 November 2026
Every day, fraud changes lives. Together, we can help prevent it through awareness, education and community action.

Over 209,000
Namibians receive an old-age pension.
Many scammers deliberately target older persons because they trust others and often rely on their monthly pension as their primary source of income.
93%
of surveyed Namibian children aged 13–17 reported having access to the internet or a mobile phone.
With increased connectivity comes greater exposure to cyberbullying, online grooming, scams, inappropriate content and AI-enabled deception. Teaching children how to stay safe online has never been more important.

What is Fraud Awareness Week?
Fraud Awareness Week is an annual global awareness initiative led by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Each November, organisations, professionals and communities around the world work together to raise awareness about fraud prevention, ethics and integrity through education and public engagement.
Fraud Awareness Week Namibia proudly supports this international initiative by focusing on the fraud risks and digital safety challenges affecting our own communities. Our 2026 campaign places special emphasis on protecting older persons from scams and helping children and families navigate the digital world safely.
The Namibian awareness activities are coordinated by SoA Growth & Integrity Consulting, together with volunteers, professionals and supporting organisations who share a common goal: to educate, empower and protect Namibians through practical fraud prevention awareness.
